This is tough one to find, until just recently there was an open access dirt road that goes straight to the peak that includes a cell tower, now a No Trespassing sign is up at the beginning of the trail...the only way up. I was confronted by a neighbor that wanted to know what I was up to. After making it clear I just wanted to climb the mountain he gave me permission, knowing the owner of the property wasn't around in Saturday. The area is actually state property and a class 6 dirt road and his property runs through the trail head area. Paranoia is high in this area due to some recent vandalizm and theft. I was lucky to have encountered an individual that let me park on his property and walk in from that vantage point. I'm not sure I would attempt to climb unless you get permission first, this one was sketchy, but its one of the highest peaks in my region, no fair keeping people out of such a nice area.
