"Standard route from the carpark, across the Harold Chapman bridge and up the southwest slopes. Beautiful weather for October. Lovely views. 4 hours. The east/right bank of the river was completely dry so didn't get my feet wet on ascent, but did on return to save myself some walking. Summit register is new in a pink ammo box. "Drove up to yaha tinda and it was snowier up top than it had been 2 weeks earlier. We had a bit day planned with some exposed traverses, and decided it wasn't worth the approach to be turned back by snow.
Drove down to Elbow.. Was it ever busy. 20 minutes in traffic at brag creek! At lunch at the trailhead and headed up at 2:30.
Route was snow free until we hit treeline.. At treeline, there were some big drifts. This one is well traveled though, so there is a good trench through the deep stuff.
Upper ridge was snow free.
Nice views from a windy summit." — mike_rogers81 • May 24, 2020
"Did both the main and North summit of Forgetmenot ridge. Unfortunately I lost all the original picture files for this trip and the ones I did salvage from facebook are too small to upload here :( . This trip was awesome though. One of the widest ridges I have ever been on. Can get quite windy up there. " — Slogenstein • Nov 11, 2018
