One last climb before heading back to California. Parked at the dirt parking lot leading to the fire station and campground. I passed through the fence and saw that the trail splits immediately. I took the trail to the left which goes in the direction of a small hill. I had good views of Fire Station Hill from this lower hill. As hoped, the trail continued on toward Fire Station Hill. Views from the top are a big payoff.
