"Although not a hill of dramatic appearance (it is a rounded 'stone dome'), Farrmheall sits on the southern edge of the wild and windswept Cape Wrath Peninsula, the remote most northerly point on the British mainland. Farrmheall is the highest hill on that peninsula, and also the most northerly 500m hill in the British Isles. I drove round from the Stoer Peninsula through dramatic scenery, parking the car off the A 838 by a bridge on the south flank of the hill.
