"First run in a while and legs made that obvious. Fatigued, I tripped and almost faceplanted into a wall of poison oak. Somehow managed to stay on my feet careening forward in 10 absurd falling strides. Good to get another “peak” for Peak Month. " — scott • Aug 22, 2022

"South Marin Highlands Loop from Morning Sun Trail including Richardson, Slacker Hill, Hawk Hill, Hill 88, FAA Hill, and other minor bumps. A beautiful fall day that made me want to get out on the Pacific." — klotito • Nov 27, 2020

"Hiked up Marincello rd/Miwok trail to FAA Hill summit. Followed Miwok and summited Peak 1029. Then completed a loop on the Old Springs trail to the trailhead. Distance was 4.09 miles." — Zardoz • Oct 12, 2018

"Did an awesome 14 mile hike in the Marin Headlands today with NorCal Women Adventurers. Started in Sausalito and went over to Hawk Hill. From there we hiked to Point Bonita, but the lighthouse was closed :(. Got to see some harbor seals, though! We had lunch at the Marine Mammal Center before hiking up to Hill 88 descending to the cars. Apparently we also hit up a few other hills on the way. Thanks, Peakery!" — kaylam87 • Feb 24, 2018

"Trailrun of a short-but-sweet Headlands loop on rare 65 degree winter evening; almost complete darkness on way down. Think I freaked out a couple of hikers who were using flashlights as I bounded out of the darkness past them." — scott • Feb 1, 2018

"Trailran up the Miwok Trail around sunset. Upper section kicked my ass as usual. As dusk approached heard a group of coyote howls... then saw a rather large coyote only a 100 yards down the trail. If you are a very young baby and are reading this, well that's incredible that you can read so young, but more importantly... be careful out there! " — scott • Jan 27, 2016

"a great trailrun loop up Miwok Trail to this summit (the last stretch is always tough) then around the Bobcat Trail. views are sick from the top (Saucelito, SF Bay, and Pacific), the highest spot in the Marin headlands" — scott • Aug 11, 2010
