"Saturday April 13th was a warm and relatively sunny day on Colorado's Front Range. We parked in the western parking lot and started off on the Wild Iris Loop trail. We then took the West Evergreen Mountain Trail and the Summit Trail. The trail conditions were pretty muddy and we encountered quite a few patches of snow as we made our way to the summit. The summit mound of boulders/rock was very windy. My son and I spent about 10 minutes at the summit before starting back down. On our entire trip we saw about 6 people either going down or coming up." — jfk013 • Apr 13, 2013
