We started our hike from Bulembu, a small town that lies on the border of South Africa, accessible by 19km of horrible dirt road from Piggs Peak. We hired a guide from Bulembu Lodge for a very reasonable fee to led our group of 4 up the mountain. Its a good hike on a relatively easy trail with no technical or challenging spots. It was extremely windy, but dry & sunny conditions. Visibility was hampered somewhat by the many fires burning throughout Swaziland but the views were great none-the-less. We hike for a cause, Hiking Heights for Higher Education, raising awareness for the Ignite Excellence Foundation (www.IgniteExcellenceFoundation.org).
