"Beautiful ascent of Cerro Del Aripo from Lalaja for Glenns Birthday celebration. 2:15 mins up and 2:10 mins down. Nice consistent pace with no stops on the way up or down. Did celebrate with a b'day cake at the top. Cerro was mountain one of two that day. We then went on to El Tucuche and ascended from Hobal Trace. " — chriskelshall • Sep 30, 2017
"Ascended from Brasso Seco Paria village. Started at 6:30am from the church up to La Laja pass onto the Northern Range main ridge. East to the summit. Recent storms meant the trail had to be reopened in certain areas. Stunning views and excellent weather. " — chriskelshall • Jul 30, 2017
"It was a awesome ascent. Starting from the village of Brasso Seco we ascended via the Lalaja main road heading first South then once onto the Main Ridge we headed East. The path is tight and often disappears into the predominantly montane undergrowth but mainly keeps to the main ridge. The final ascent is steep enough to make it fun but not dangerous. The top is vegetated with no views to speak of. The top is demarked with a 1ft x 1ft slab of concrete and respective Trig Point mark. It is at foot level and easy to miss in the undergrowth at the top.
