I pulled one out of Sean Casserly's playbook and decided to hike up some random butte that nobody has heard of :-) This one was kind of a hellish shrub-whack through vine maple for most of the way, but it had a fantastic payoff with some beautiful rock crevice wildflowers and a sunset view of Mount Adams. 90 Minutes up and back after work.
