I saw no one had claimed this so I wanted to take it on. Early on I found out there were no trails so I took some orange trail tape with me although not enough apparently. I got about 3/4s of the way up and ran out. I got a few hundred feet from the very tip and decided I should really had back. It was raining and really slick on the way down and I ended up getting off track. I ended up fine once I got to the bottom but was a good 4,000 ft from where I came in. All in all I was glad I packed well, but I can see why it went unclaimed for so long. The only reward was getting off the mountain :) I don't suggest this mountain to anyone less than an experienced hiker and I shouldn't have done it alone but am glad for the experience.
