As far as I can determine, Durr Hill is the 6th highest "named" summit point in Iowa. It is located on private property, but my son, Marshall, and I were able to obtain permission to make the ascent from the landowner who lives immediately to the west. Although this is just a hill, it was a fun steep, short ascent to a great view in all directions at the eastern edge of the Missouri River floodplain. The cliff drop off on the western edge of the summit ridgeline is significant, so any children should be watched very closely.
