Parked at the beginning of the track at SN 75844 84796. Took the track up into the forest, intending to take the path through it where the track ends shown on the map. No such path on the ground. Returned to the point closest to the hill on the track, going up steeply SW under the power line to a col. Then SE over a series of minor tops to the summit, overlooking a pool. Returned by outward route. Solo.

Hot and sunny at first, but soon clouding over, with a little light rain.
