There were 3 of us that started out our hike in the early afternoon of a gorgeous day. We went up on the Ledgers trail and descended by the Nature trail. I'm originally from southern Louisiana. I love to be on a hike in the woods when the weather cools off, and love the mountains, so this was a wonderful experience for me. We climbed to the top of the tower & had binoculars to take in the view....how beautiful and so was the foliage!
