"Went for a hike with my soon to be 60 year old parents. Took us an hour to get to the viewpoint. Had a wonderful time enjoying the view while being surrounded by Ravens, Stellar Jays, Whiskey Jacks, Chickadees, and Chipmunks. It's a lovely walk through old growth forest with towering cedars and hemlocks." — PabloBruneau • Oct 7, 2021
"First hike in winter with spikes/snowshoes. Uneventful up to Dog Mountain. Micro spikes only. Tried to go to Suicide Bluffs and had to put snowshoes on. Track was hard to find but managed to stay on it. At the base of Suicide Bluffs, I realized it was harder than expected and wasn't prepare enough. Turned back." — WaffleEaterSkier • Mar 12, 2021

"My plan was to climb Seymour a great 9 km round trip with the dogs. On my way up I heard that the park rangers were up a the trail. I had been stopped in August by the Rangers. They lectured me for half an hour about hiking with the dogs off leash. I turned around and took the Dog Mountain trail. A sghorter trip but the views are great. The weather was turning to heavy vcloud that night so I had to get out before the fall pattern of bad weather sets in. " — andrewbrintnell • Oct 3, 2014
"Beautiful sunny day. Our plan was to do Seymour. I was with Palm and Chola. We started up the trail a d the boys were off leash, A fellow on her way down said there were two rangers up trail. She was one was tall aND a short one with an accent. That sounded like the ranger who were harassing me at Cypress. We decided to turn around and do Dog Mtn. L
