"Started at rockpile TH and had about three miles of hungry hungry mosquitos. After getting to the PCT they cleared out and it was easy sailing from there. The traverse was snow free and the butterfly hatch was in full display. Ended up at 11.62 miles RT. " — oregon-mt-goat • Jul 26, 2019

"A nice fresh dusting of snow greeted me on this outing. Left the trailhead after a three hour drive to get there crunching through frosty ground and snow. Approached from the south using the PCT until the climber trail shot off to the west. Good climb up a mix of hard and loose volcanic scree until the ridgeline. Some strategic routes around the gendarmes leads you straight to the summit crest. Truly amazing views from the top. 4 hours up/ 3 hours down and just over 12 miles roundtrip." — oregon-mt-goat • Sep 24, 2016

"This was my third summit of Diamond Peak. It's nearly 25 miles round trip from the Willamette Pass trail heads so it's not one I do a lot! Most of the hike is on the PCT so the route is well maintained until you get to one of the ridges and scale the peak proper." — DonNelsen47 • Sep 29, 2011
