Highlights
- Devils Courthouse is a huge peak on the Blue Ridge Parkway with the top 200 or so feet on the east side of cliff faces.
- The trail is a paved path from the parkway to the summit.
- Rock climbing and rappelling have degraded the cliffs, so these activities are no longer permitted.

"Bob and I hiked from the parking lot to Devils Courthouse. On the way back we took the MST connector over the parkway tunnel and hiked the MST toward Chestnut Bald. Recovering from a week-long illness, I had to turn back, but I hope to return some day and go all the way to Silvermine Bald." — davidensley • Jul 25, 2024
"Solo day hike hitting three Southern Sixers under sunny skies with passing clouds and mild temps. Parked in the Devil's Courthouse lot at 9:30am and made the quick hike up the semi-paved trail to the top of Devil's Courthouse for a spectacular view with the morning fog still lingering in the valley. A short connector trail runs from the Devil's Courthouse trail straight to the MST.
