"A lot of snow still, 2-3 ft is many places. Probably should have worn snow shoes. There was no visible trail for the last mile or so so we had to make our own through the untouched snow. Difficult, but worth it! " - IanWright, Apr 21, 2015
"Last activity of the trip for me in RMNP. A gentle 3-mile hike to the summit along a very well maintained trail. Excellent views of Longs Peak along the way. A nice easy summit to end the day with before heading to Estes Park for some local brews. " - MooseHiker, Jul 20, 2013
"Snow shoed to the top solo. First hike outside of the Midwest and really proved to be a turning point in my life. Beginning point of my passion for peaks and the beginning of my physical transformation from a 270 pound man. Never going to forget this hike. " - revsev, Apr 17, 2008
