"Beautiful day for early February - tee shirt weather and almost no snow. Accessed peak via Stultz Trail. Trail is more enjoyable than either Tanner Trail or Bear Gulch Trail, although the views are much better from Tanner Trail. Great day of hiking." - paulmedved, Feb 5, 2013
"Great hike. Very warm and dry for December but amazing views of the Sangre De Cristo Range, Pikes Peak and the eastern plains. Parked at Bear Gulch 10 miles south of Canon City on Oak Creek Grade Road. Access via East Bear Trailhead (connected to the Tanner-Stultz Loop). Unfortunately the trail is very worn by ATV's but well worth the hike. Easy access to Tanner Peak from Curley Peak." - paulmedved, Dec 4, 2012
