Solo'd the trail to the fork at the saddle after having done the route twice already. Do not recommend soloing it as I got chased by 3 dogs from the last house on the hill and there is no safe way around that house on the way down. Continued up the ridge past the private property sign as I had previously spoken to some locals and discovered that the sign was only there to discourage vehicle traffic. Found 2 houses furthur up on that road. 1 is abandoned, I got a very bad feeling about the second one and turned around at 3280m. I could not see the peak where I turned around but can only assume that it is fenced off and inaccessible.
