"Nice day out in the NCA . Came up Willow springs overlook first then I tried to find deception peak(not on here ) but didn’t have much luck. Was standing right on top of the coordinates that I had on Google but didn’t see a register or anything . Went up to Goodman and tagged that, and moved up to north. Snow and ice are pretty minimal until you get over to crest , then it starts to get quite icy. Too icy to traverse all the way over to yoga and bridge . Came back and got lost creek, but tried to come down the face and got cliffed out/lost . Was super annoying cause I could see the rock stack leading me down the gully but couldn’t find a line down the 30 ft dry fall or anything around it . Made me wish I had untied and took one of the many useless hand lines I encountered along the way. Had to go back up and out the way I came and come down the easy way." — joshortman • Jan 2, 2023
"2.1.2020~Bridge Mtn #18 & limestone North Peak (aka Crest Peak) w/Jimmy. 13.2 miles, 4,300’ gain in 5:53hrs (time includes a :45min break w/Jimmy before I went off to do Bridge.) We started at Lovell Canyon Rd this time. Lots of snow and ice on Rocky Gap Rd that made it challenging. The sandstone matrix to and from Bridge was so hot. I have a slight cold so I struggled and was fatigued but my quadzillas took it on like the terminator and got me there. Met some nice people along the way. I was cocky on the way down and fell while running on ice but my right ass cheek took the blow. Wrist is a little sore too. Fun day. Jimmy is building uphill endurance and will climb Bridge with me soon. He is so strong. Can’t wait for that to happen. " — paula.raimondi • Feb 1, 2020
"15 mile solo 3 peak run/trek. Bridge, Crest (limestone North Peak) & The Divided Sky. Took Rocky Gap and Giant Mile shortcut to Bridge starting at Willow Springs Picnic area, summited Bridge, then Crest Peak and descended to the Red Rock Summit Pass and took Rocky gap to The Divided Sky....Snow and some ice to deal with and watch out for. "10.6.18. 18.5 mile, 4,800’ vert gain, Point to Point, Rainbow Wilderness Escarpment, Limestone Crest Tour. Mountain Springs to Willow Springs, Red Rock.
Today I experienced one of the best adventures of my life. I’m so proud of myself and grateful I have a strong body that allows me to experience such things. I can’t even believe I live in such a beautiful place. Thank you Chris for the invite. I started alone in the dark an hour and 11 min before Chris and his Friends so I didn’t feel the pressure of a fast pace.
The sunrise made me weep. The route was rough, rugged, scenic and fun with the navigational challenges that I love. I Bagged at least 4 peaks along the way too. 10.5 miles after I started they caught up with me and I did the rest of the miles with the group.
Thank you Chris and Harlan for all the info on how to follow the ridge without getting lost.
I’m sad it’s over." — paula.raimondi • Oct 6, 2018
"“Wake Me Up....When September Ends”~Green Day.
9.30.18 Bridge Mtn (#6 for me, #47 for Harlan) Multi Peak Hike. 5 Peaks. Bridge, Crest Peak (Limestone North), Sandstone North Peak, Lost Creek Peak, Baby Shark and a near Summit of Divided Sky Peak. I emailed Harlan earlier in the week to see if he could join me for this multi-peak day. I’ve always wanted to combine all these peaks in this area. Harlan has done many hikes like this and is always up for a nice sufferfest in the mountains so I was happy he said yes. Warm day but the high winds made it feel comfortable and tolerable. We gave a very strong effort on all the Hills. 15.5 tough miles, 6,000’ vert gain. Beautiful Day!

"Harlan took me up to view Bridge Mtn and a tour for my future summit of bridge. He is an amazing Mtn Mentor. We bagged Crest Peak (aka limestone No Peak) and SS North along the way back along the ridge. Beautiful Hike and great workout." — paula.raimondi • Oct 19, 2016
"I think this is Limestone North Peak. (Not sure why it's being called Crest Peak) any hoo, I hiked up from Willow Springs via Rocky Gap road to get a look at Bridge Mtn. I want to climb that next but it's looks impossible so I need to wrap my head around it! Great views on the 12 mile round trip hike/run." — paula.raimondi • Apr 18, 2016
