I had planned a 12-mile route a few months ago for this, starting at the waterfall in the south. However, I had wild camped the previous 2 nights near Pen Y Fan and decided to tick off 3 Welsh Marilyn's before heading home. This meant I ended up taking the shortest possible route. The weather was perfect, and only see two hikers and two mountain bikers. The zip world launch tower is nearby, so don't be alarmed by any screams now and again ;-)
