"Hiked Up Cotton Mountain, was steep, had a lot of leaves, and the Trail was a Bit Difficult to Navigate, but did Hike the Loop over towards Mount Livermore, got close ish to Mount Livermore, but couldn't figure out where the Summit was and it was getting Dark, then Hiked the Prescott Trail over to the Highway South Trail in the Dark, and Walked a Little on Route 113 back towards the car...
Definitely a Cool Area and Want to go Back and Hike Mount Livermore..

"Sixth and final mountain on this twelve mile ridge traverse. I was running out of gas by this time. A short but steep ascent from the east followed by a similar descent brought us to the trailhead car drop and the end of a long but spectacular day on an underappreciated trail." — goshen-bagger • Jun 6, 2023
"I did a loop hike over Cotton and Livermore Mountains today. I started up the Cotton Mountain Trail, which was made even more difficult with all of the fall leaves on the ground with a nice splash of fresh rain on them as well. Nevertheless, the view from just below the summit was beautiful. It was a gorgeous day in the Squam Range." — HikeLikeMike • Nov 11, 2016
