"Hallowen's Day in Spain, it is known here as All Saints' Day, we were only thinking of taking a walk through the Cope Natural Park, but the west winds are very warm today and we decided to go up to the top and then go down the East side from the cape, doing
a circular route." — franciscobirruezo • Nov 1, 2021

"Fantastic route to Cabo Cope after going to the weekly market for fresh vegetables. The sea is calm after several days of storm, the most daring fishermen walk along the cliffs to find the best catch. We move away from them to gain height and enjoy the territory of the birds and the silence. At some points the path narrows and gets dangerously close to the edge of the cliff and it is advisable not to linger enjoying the scenery. We pass through an area of black Sabinas that not even botanists can explain how they got here. Its habitat is in mountainous areas far from the sea. We meditate at the top with wonderful views of the Mediterranean and the truth is that we would stay here longer for pure pleasure." — franciscobirruezo • Apr 17, 2021

"I go to this mountain looking for tranquility while I do some exercise, a couple of partridges fly near me when I ascend a narrow path on the North side. Numerous flowers spread along the slope that becomes rockier at the highest point. I see from here a lonely catamaran sheltered from the prevailing winds in the calm sea." — franciscobirruezo • Mar 24, 2021

"Warm day at Cabo Cope, a strange joke of suspended dust hides the horizon. I climb to the Collado de las Cabricas where there were prehistoric human settlements. Continue along the south side of Cope on a dangerous hillside that admits no mistakes. I see
Numerous seagulls below me. The cliffs of about 600 feet are spectacular. I decide to gain height by guiding me just a bunch of stones. Below is the medieval Tower and the extensive and lonely Marina de Cope." — franciscobirruezo • Feb 28, 2020

"Nice route through this natural park, the northern area of Cabo Cope is full of buds and new flowers, also the path is very slippery due to the night dew. Other walkers have thought the same as us and are encouraged to walk the path. Surrounding the mountain later, we see riders riding slowly. Today is the feast of the epiphany here and many people take advantage of the day to do outdoor sports." — franciscobirruezo • Jan 6, 2020

"Climb Cope from calabardina on the classic path. This time I was accompanied by a good mountaineer and expert in the area. Other walkers also encouraged to climb to enjoy an infinite view and the best Mediterranean breeze." — franciscobirruezo • Jun 10, 2019
