Left the Mineral Creek Trailhead at 6:00 AM and reached Upper Park Lake at 8:00. At the PCT, I hung a left. Note that Summitpost tells you to had south on the PCT. This is generally true--you will be southbound on the PCT, but actually heading NW at this particular bend in the trail. At the last switchback in the trail before the PCT heads up to Chikamin Pass, I took the well-defined way trail to Glacier Lake. The Lake is surrounded by some impressive cliffs and reminded me of the Sierras. I topped off my water and skirted the E side of the lake, then followed the way trail and cairns over talus and subalpine terrain up the small creek that feeds the lake, arriving at Lake Chick Correa. I pegged that as a fine swimming hole for later, then went around the S side of that lake and made my way over broken bedrock up to the ridge between Chikamin Peak and Four Brothers. I followed the ridge to the top and carefully picked a path up the Class 3 summit block (pictured), arriving at 12:00 noon to find stunning views of Lemah Mountain, Huckleberry, Thomson, Mt. Stuart, Three Queens, and others. Note that there is some webbing should you choose to rappel down. I would have done so, if I'd had the equipment, as there was one somewhat precarious move I had to make on the way down.

I chose to retrace my steps, pausing for a brief swim and a nap by Lake Chick Correa. I arrived back at the car around 5:15 PM, with hallucinatory images of a burger and a beer at The Brick (in Roslyn) floating before my eyes.

The approach up Mineral Creek is as brushy as reported, but I would highly recommend this climb as an entertaining solo hike.
