"Very nice hike . As soon as you pass the falls junction the crowd disappears and I only saw one other person the whole time . Eagles peak is a nice a little side trail off from el cap that is worth taking . El cap itself is very beautiful with a great view of half dome . Hardest part is definitely just getting to the falls junction with all the switchbacks once you get past that it’s quite easy. Saving north dome and Yosemite point for another trip but bagging all four of those ina day would be a killer line" — joshortman • Oct 23, 2022

"Started from Tenaya Lake, over Clouds Rest and into the Valley. Long day, but worth every step! The view is one of the best in the Yosemite Valley. This is the perfect kick-a$$ hike, and will wipe away any stresses you may have carried when starting." — colleenmarie512 • Jul 2, 2022

"Hit the Four Mile Trail hard and could never take a break because the incessant bugs would swarm my head. A smokey haze filled the valley but AQI not that bad. Could barely see Clouds Rest where I’d been yesterday. Rhiked down with side trips to Glacier Point and Union Point." — scott • Sep 24, 2021

"First time out to Clouds Rest (a peakery Classic). Perfect weather with clear air presented us the world famous full-on Yosemite Valley view. Maxed out my phone storage taking photos of Half Dome. Hit a couple side peaks on the way out." — scott • Sep 23, 2021

"Hiked up on our final day of the JMT nobo. We were camped near the junction so started around sunrise and reached the cables well before crowds arrived. There was only one other person on the cables above us, and he was an awesome guy. So much fun climbing up there, hung out at the top for nearly an hour enjoying the incredible views of Yosemite on a beautiful clear morning." — jodola • Aug 26, 2021
