"I experienced every type of weather on this climb. Whiteout snow, freezing winds, rain, sun, you name it. Summit ridge was partially snow covered which made the final climb more interesting than it otherwise would have been; was glad to have my ice axe. Beautiful fall colors along Nebo Bench. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the Wasatch." - Mount Nebo, edg, Sep 30, 2017
"Drove up from Vegas Friday night. Started from the Timpooneke Trailhead and hiked the trail to the summit. We debated glissading down the steep snow slope, but there was a rescue going on, so we just took the other trail back to Aspen Grove, where we had other cars. We saw a TON of mountain goats on this hike. This is definitely one of the most beautiful hikes I've done! Waterfalls, towering cliffs, goats, a beautiful meadow - this hike had it all! The only thing I didn't like were the hoards of people." - Mount Timpanogos, Kevin, Aug 5, 2017
"Day 2 of our 2-day Utah climbing weekend. A little more of a challenging climb with a torn meniscus so we took it slow. Made the drive from Park City and from the trailhead made the summit and back round trip in about 6 hours, taking a pretty leisurly pace. As with the previous day, the weather was changing fast, and people who had started earlier warned us about high winds past North Peak and up Mount Nebo itself. Starting a bit later in the day may have helped us, as the winds weren't that bad. Very enjoyable hike which starts out on an easy to follow trail and which ends with some fu" - Mount Nebo, BryHong8, Sep 4, 2016
"Fantastic hike. The summit is the smallest I've ever been on, about the size of a couple kitchen tables, complete with 600 foot cliffs on three sides. Incredible view. Long hike, took myself and my dad about 10 to 11 hours round trip." - Lone Peak, Ecaello, Sep 3, 2016
"Camped at the trailhead. Started at 8:30 am and was back at the car by 2:45. On the way back down we decided to take a detour and summit the north peak - not a big deal. The weather was warm and sunny, cold and windy, hailing and raining, then warm and sunny again....standard for tall peaks in Utah." - Mount Nebo, Hilljr, Sep 3, 2016
