"Mount Seymour hike with Jen and John on a brisk and sunny Sunday, with autumn foliage in full blaze. Did the hike as a loop - outward via Brockton, Pump Peak, Tim Jones Peak to Mount Seymour, then back via Mystery Lake. A bit of haze over the city, but beautiful 360 views nonetheless - Mt Baker and the North Cascades; Eagle Mountain and beyond; Mt Elsay, Runner Peak, Coliseum and Brunswick, Cathedral, and and and (wish I could
name them all). My second hike to
Pump Peak this year.

"It was a warm day to try this shoulder season peak. Steve and I caught the 8 a.m. ferry and started our hike at 845. The logging road portion of the hike was not enjoyable at all. Once we got into the woods we took the trail to the north side of the mountain. At the summit we got great views of Wood Fiber Gibsons and up the Strait of Georgia. To the east side we got great views of Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains. " — andrewbrintnell1 • Jun 8, 2024
"Steve and I decided to hike up Hollyburn as it was a cloudy day. At 3200 ft mark snow was continuous covering the entire route. No view on summit as in cloud. The descent was much quicker as we did several glissades down. " — andrewbrintnell1 • May 18, 2024
"With Steve on an overcast day. We got an early start to get to the summit before the crowds. Snow was continuous at about the 3950 foot mark. The was great overlooking Howe Sound " — andrewbrintnell1 • Jun 24, 2023
"Quite a long walk in from my uncles place, grouse grind was closed. Took the BCMC trail up, at the end of the trail i discoverd the access to the summit was blocked by building contractors so I had to turn back a few hundred meters short. :(" — Toastinski • May 9, 2023
