"2023.01.06.-án 23:00 körül indultam Veszprémből. 01.07.03:00 óra elött kicsivel értem Zgorja Radovna-ba. Krm völgyből kezdtem meg a mászást. 11:00-ra értem a Kredaricára. 14:00 ra voltam a csúcson a Mali Triglavon keresztül. Vissza 14:30 körül a Kredarica 23:00-ra az autónál. 01.08. 09:00 otthon voltam. Lefelé kb. 2000m en pihentem 45' vizet kelett főznőm. Hazavezetés közben egy kúton aludnom kellett 2-3órát! A legnehezebb része a Mali Triglav meredek része volt ! Minden lépésnél rugdalva kialakitani a biztos lépést a fagyott hóban.

"Failed, but beautiful attempt. Visiting my friend AK in the Balkans last autumn, with plans of summitting the Slovenian national treasure, Triglav. It being September and quite a hot summer, neither of us were prepared for the first snow of the season the day we hiked -- as in we didn't pack the clothes/gear for it. However, I didn't pack a helmet all the way from the US to not give it a try, so we went until we came upon some heated chalet that served food and had rooms for rent (between Vernar and Tosc) before heating up and turning back. "Slovenia. Bumpy ride through the forest from Mojstrana to Aljazev Dom. Started walking with boots I found in the garage and tested while cutting the lawn. After half an hour the rubber sole of the left boot came lose.. on the way back the right sole fell off.. Not possible to rent boots at hut. We're here now, put on sandals, more grip then other shoes. Climbed out of Vrata Valley to Luknja pass. Very windy, some clouds. Triglav is the first peak of six we want to climb in the Balkans. Inspected the saddle left of the pass, no way we're doing that in these conditions without proper footwear or rope/helmet. Turned right instead. Climbed up this mountain, two germans and a funny Italian on top who took our picture. Went down on the other side. Very slowly, steep and tricky path with cables in between rocks. Lower there were sections of lose rocks, on the right were mountain goats. Got into the forest when it started drizzling. Legs were very tired when we got back. Pulled out tent from backpack. Already dark. Slept on parking lot next to car." — Pieter • Aug 13, 2018

"Hiked up from Stara Fuzina to the peak, and then back down to stay at Dom Planika, eventually finishing the loop with stays at Seven Lakes Hut and Dom na Vogarju. Caught some rain on the way down from the peak." — TCH • Aug 27, 2016
