"Took a slow BART T train east bound from Powell, stepped off at 3rd St and Le Conte and walked up Key Avenue to Bay View Hill. Meandered back via Bernal heights enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of various SF neighbourhoods, stopping for pizza in the cool Mexican Mission Districf. I’d planned something in the Marin hills today but they were cloaked in cloud coming rolling off the Pacific while it was sunny down Bayviiew direction. "Nice little hike. Very limited parking at the trailhead Key Ave. Thought the summit was going to be a brushy scramble, but there are a few use trails that access the top. Older water tank of some type at the summit that has been painted by graffiti artists." — klotito • Oct 17, 2021

"Quick hike up Mount Sutro and then over to Twin Peaks at sunset. Gorgeous views in all directions, especially of San Francisco, Marin County and the Golden Gate. There’s not much to see on Mount Sutro, but it’s a nice walk up through the eucalyptus." — sareine • May 24, 2020
