The classic peaks of the Monteregian Hills of Quebec... a rewarding local challenge for summit-seeking Montrealers. The Monteregian Hills (Collines Montérégienness) are a chain of isolated minor peaks stretching east across the St. Lawrence Lowlands. No excuses: all lie within 100km of Montreal! Note: Mont Mégantic is excluded since it lies so far from the other peaks.

"It had snowed earlier in the week, followed by temperatures in the 40s and 50s, so many of the trails were covered in slush and mud. But the weather during the hike was beautiful and we had clear views at all of the lookouts." — JCalautti • Mar 14, 2024
"Perfect sunny day, hardly any ice on the trails. Crampons took a ride in the backpack. We did the loop Panoramique up, down Carrière. Added the little summit along the way (yellow trail)." — LadySaturnia • Mar 8, 2024
"Perfect 6 and a half hour Hike with Friends and fellow hikers up to Rocky and five other peaks. A cloudy spring day, fed the birds and was treated to some very incredible views of the local neighborhood and into Montreal, Trails the best I've seen ,clean and wide, with a couple friends and did what we love" — ramjet1963 • Apr 29, 2023
