"Took the Abol trail to Baxter peak avec Thack and Ethan. Temps were cold & windy on the ascent & the descent was sunny and warm. Trails were moderately busy on the descent. The fall foliage was unreal. Took 7 heures, I think." — meilijohnson • Oct 13, 2024

"Day 2 of my Maine adventure with Mike. Stopped 1.5 miles before the trail due to washed out road. Light rain on and off in the morning. 2000 ft of elevation gain in the first mountain! "Last mountain on an established bushwhacked trail with Mike. Slow going in and out of the woods down to logging trail. Found top behind a hedge of trees and the canister down a side trail.
