Includes the most popular peaks lying on the 1165 km-long Hungarian National Blue Trail, one the most popular hiking paths in Hungary. Sweeping panoramic views await you from many of these peaks -- many from lookout towers. The trail traverses the country from the pre-alpine western border through the Transdanubian Mountains and the North Hungarian Mountains to the northeastern border. "This peak is one of those where you can actually drive up and just walk to the high point.
I prefer to work at least a bit for the peak, so I got dropped off on the lower section of the mountain where I ran straight up the ski slope to the high point.
It was nice to meet my parents up there and walk up the stairs to the TV station for some better views." — nandorszotak • Jul 5, 2023

"Short and easy walk. Not a big achievement in terms of climbing, however it's country #1. Stone, colored in Hungarian flag colors is marking the exact peak. Few cafeterias and communication tower can be found nearby. " — Deividas • Jul 25, 2013

"During the daylong hike I also visited the summits: Cseplye-tetö (484m), Sar-hegy (499m), Köporos-hegy (413m) and Hidas-berc (973m).
