"Traversed Watzmann on a day with great conditions. Started at Watzmannhaus at 5am; arrived at the Südspitze at shortly before 10am. Lighting was interesting with some kind of diffuse fog hanging around for quite a long time. Descent through the Wimbachgrießkar back to Ramsau." — TheTMan • Jul 13, 2021

"So... originating from a conversation on twitter, I ended up ascending the Zugspitze a second time, three days after my first summit. This time I took the cable car down, however. Enough is enough :)" — TheTMan • Jul 23, 2020

"Combining arguably the two most scenic routes to the Zugspitze to one gigantic day trip has been a longstanding dream of mine. With perfect weather conditions, and on a weekday (highly recommended) a friend and I finally made it happen. Started at around 5:45am in Hammersbach, went through the Höllentalklamm gorge, two ferratas, and across the Höllentalferner glacier to the summit, where we arrived at around 1pm. Went back to Garmisch through the Reintal valley, which is both beautiful and near-endless. Total trip took around 16h and was about 41km and 3000m elev. gain." — TheTMan • Jul 20, 2020

"Went with a friend on a beautiful day (mostly sunny, not too hot) near Linderhof castle. From there ascended the Kuchelberg ridge and traversed it towards Kreuzspitze. We decided to cut short the hike as it was becoming rather long and the weather looked a bit unstable, so Kreuzspitze will have to wait for another time. My gpx track didn't show up when uploading the climb and the peaks weren't detected, so I'm not sure this'll include a map of our route (available upon request)." — TheTMan • May 19, 2020

"Beautiful day with great sunny weather and no wind at all. The only disssapointement is the last few hundred meters to the summit are on steep lose rocks/little kiezel. Very annoying walking and could be dangerous if more people are on the mountain. You better take a helmet." — martin-nijboer • Oct 19, 2017
