"Départ de Chézari, c'est long entre le col du breuil et la face, il reste presque rien du glacier...
Start from Chézari, it's long way beetwen cl du breuil and the face, the glacier is really small and will die soon" — vincentcallet • Aug 12, 2025
"I am in the Alps doing the Tour of Mont Blanc, we are on the eighth day and today I am sending Peakery this peak from my son's cell phone because mine stopped working on the third day in heavy rain. We are going with another friend from Barcelona called Xavi. I will upload more things when I get the phone working. Today we had rain, snow, blizzard and sun in Argentier, all weathers in one morning. We have climbed the Col de La Balme from Trient and from there to this peak. These days we have met people from Europe, the United States and Asia. It's 100 miles and at this moment our bodies already notice the effort made." — franciscobirruezo • Sep 13, 2024
"Starting the approach from Val Veny and going down to Entreves (1300 m), we did a +2100m to reach the Torino hut. On summit day we spent 4 additional hours negotiating the crevasse filled Vallee Blanche before finding our way towards the Cosmiques side. After the summit, I twisted my ankle jumping over a crevasse on the steep slopes of Tacul... All this made for a 17-hour long summit day. Good thing there is a lift going down from Torino hut and this was the last mountain of my trip, concluding one month in the Alps with 8 new fourthousanders in the bag! " — Christos • Aug 18, 2020
"That was one of the goals I was preparing for as part of my solo expedition in the Alps! Tried to scale it all the way from Chamonix, but after reaching the top of Mer de glace glacier, got kicked out by bad weather and nasty crevasses on Glacier du Geant icefall. So I took the lift to Aiguille du Midi and went up the 3 Monts route to Mont Blanc and spent the night at Vallot bivouac at 4365m. The next day walked all the way down to the village Les Houches at 1000m altitude. " — Christos • Aug 11, 2018
"My plans for Mont Blanc were cancelled from the bad weather and very high avalanche risk so I did some trekking around the valley. Tried Mont Buet earlier that day but found this too icy with low visibility and active snowfall, so I looked for something a bit easier. The west end of the valley was the only spot with sun so I hike this poorly named tree covered summit.
