"We got up at 1:30 am, had breakfast and at 2:50 am were at the parking ready to climb Babia Góra mountain, to see magnificent sunrise from the top. "Rysy, 2499 m, the highest peak of Poland, went from Slovakia side. We started at 2 am 😉!!! and then were sitting in the car and waiting for other people as were afraid of bears to go through the forest alone :) almost all the way it was raining, but if you want, have determition and if you are well prepared -> you can😊💪 We gained the height +1000 m and then -1000 m went down P.S. it is my 3ed attempt with Rysy and I did it🫡" — annarokanera • Aug 3, 2024

"Blizzard conditions on the summit meant approx 1m visibility and severe winds. We got as close to the summit as possible in very poor conditions and I came away with mild frostbite in my fingers. "Start w Krościenku nad Dunajcem skąd przejechaliśmy na parking w pobliżu stacji elektryczki "Popradzki Staw" na Słowacji. Odległość znośna - 85 km. Na miejscu byliśmy o godzinie 6:45. Z parkingu podejście asfaltem na Popradzki Staw gdzie w schronisku wypiłem sherpa tea, herbatę z "bylinkami". Po krótkiej przerwie start na szlak i o godzinie 11:00 meldowałem się na Rysach. Niestety po drodze pogoda się zepsuła i widoczność była ograniczona do minimum. Nie zmienia to faktu że najwyższy szczyt Polski został zdobyty. Po drodze (pod i powyżej Schroniska pod Wagą) było trochę śniegu ale bardzo łatwo można go było przejść z użyciem kijków trekingowych, raki całkowicie niepotrzebne. W drodze powrotnej zdobyliśmy główny wierzchołek Rysów (2503) oraz strawersowaliśmy tuż poniżej szczytu wierzchołek 2473. Z powrotem w schronisku byliśmy o 13:30" — JakubW • Jun 17, 2018

"Together with 4 of my friends did a 30km walk around Gorce. We started in Rzeki and we took blue trail south to Gorc peak. Next we turned west to Turbacz peak following green trail. Walking back to car we decided to take the yellow trail that leads through Kudłoń and Gorc Troszacki. The whole trip took us almost 10 hours." — szymonkodrebski • Apr 14, 2018
