"Set put to climb Mt Thomas despite the rain rolling in. Conditions were wet and bit slippery, but I pushed on through the mist and drizzle. The forest was quite, with only the sound of rain tapping through the canopy. Reached the summit with a sense of satisfaction-clouds closing in but the effort was worth it.
