"I had a great hike. Went by myself. The only car in the parking lot. It's a long, bumpy road to the trailhead parking lot. I did run into one other guy hiking with a guide. Really wet, cloudy, overcast day so no views. The trail is fairly well marked. I only got off the trail once and got back on track. I did a cool little video of the hike here: https://youtu.be/KM3z6DzBRls . Let me know what you think!" — liam • Jul 28, 2019
"Family trip with 4 years old one.
Very short one (3.6km return) and not much of the gain (under 300m) but humidity and heat do take their toll - 2:30hrs return.
Got some views on the way up.. but as usual a whiteout summit. Even in tropics." — alexp • Oct 22, 2018
"It was a beautyfull day in my bornvillage Şengül. The old/real name is Kürt Kaçağı. It means "Refugeeplace of Kurds". The next villages are Kilise Kaçağı and Ermeni Kaçağı. You can gess: the first one means "Refugeeplace of the Church", the second one is on the other side of now Şengül and means "Refugeeplace of the Armenian". There is also an Armenian church in the mountains 20 km on the eastside of Şengül. Now named "Dikili Taşlar " . It's an inspiring environment with holy plaecs, high mountains and most of them now Alvite Kurdish pure people!" — Murat • Sep 20, 2018
"Beautiful ascent of Cerro Del Aripo from Lalaja for Glenns Birthday celebration. 2:15 mins up and 2:10 mins down. Nice consistent pace with no stops on the way up or down. Did celebrate with a b'day cake at the top. Cerro was mountain one of two that day. We then went on to El Tucuche and ascended from Hobal Trace. " — chriskelshall • Sep 30, 2017
"Ascended from Brasso Seco Paria village. Started at 6:30am from the church up to La Laja pass onto the Northern Range main ridge. East to the summit. Recent storms meant the trail had to be reopened in certain areas. Stunning views and excellent weather. " — chriskelshall • Jul 30, 2017
