"Solo hike but lots of people out there. Made good time and got to the summit before lunch with plans to visit the springs on decent. Due to the good weather (and mobile reception) I decided to do the loop instead of out and back. Descended to lipsett which was more rubble/scree/routefinding than anticipated. Only stayed a few minutes at Lipsett and enjoyed the relaxed and meandering trail back to the highway. Happy to be finished 2 mountains under 7hrs." — MarkJPerkins • Sep 4, 2020
"After getting a monthly doze of adrenaline on Mt. Robertson, next day I was looking for an easy peak with little exposure and difficulty. For some reason, I thought Big Sister fits this description. I didn't do any research and just followed a distinct trail (there are 2 trails as I later learned). Big Sister turned out much harder than expected. There were two brief Class 4 sections on good slabs and the well-know Class 3 downclimb before the summit block. The rest of the terrain above the treeline (steep scree and slabs or usually the both) required some caution. It looked like a solid "difficult" scramble. I was probably off-route but, curiously enough, I followed a path with cairns and flaggings and other people followed the same route." — Taras • Aug 29, 2020

"did an early start (7 am) to avoid both the heath, and throngs of people. We were the first up, and halfway down to the col before we saw the next group coming up. Many people coming up with poor footwear, and almost no helmets..." — apfelstrudel • Aug 16, 2020

"Needed to get out as the weekend will be family time. I biked about 2/3 of the way in, dragging the bike further than I perhaps should have. Found my own way up and while that was fine, I didn't want to find and downclimb the way I came up. It took a while to get up, but the weather was good and I pushed on with teh possibility of walking out in the dark. I went to the other side of the bowl (I recommend not doing) where I saw scree slopes leading down a away. While that part was ok, it led to sttep slab slopes with scree on them, and the waterways were guarded by vertical walls. After some looking around and some concern, I found my way. I rejoined the route and went down" — BertB • Aug 12, 2020
