"Awesome 3-banger outside of Bozeman, though most people only seem to go for Sacagawea. Best views are actually from Pomp (IMO), which is worth the trip once you get back to the saddle. " — LGH-Dan • Jul 30, 2020

"6-mile dirt road to Fairy Lake Trailhead, gate closed at 4 miles due to snow up ahead so we hiked the last 2 miles. Snow on route from the start. Hiked up into snowy whiteout conditions at Sacagwea Pass, and also pretty windy at the summit. I'm sure the view is incredible, but all we could see was white! Made it a pretty epic hike though and we had a blast, even did some glissading back down the saddle." — jodola • Jun 23, 2019

"Spur of the moment trip! Hiked up later in the afternoon than I should have but made for an incredible hike! The most goats I have seen up there in the saddle than ever before too. Surprisingly, the snow wasn't hindering higher up as it was in the tree line." — trevormork • Jun 5, 2016

"Started the trek by Cache Creek and came up through Ross Pass to the Bridger Ridge. Along the Bridger Ridge, made the summit up to Saddle Peak then came back down the trail at Bridger Ski Bowl." — trevormork • Sep 17, 2010

"First climb of Sacagawea -- have done this a few times since. Took the west side approach up Corbly Gulch from the Springhill Road. If I climb this peak again, this is the route I will take, as it is much more satisfying than the opposite approach from Fairy Lake and the mobs of people. The Bridger traverse is in my future -- lots of beautiful mountain scenery to soak in. And the goats are always a pleasure to see..." — MarmotHead • Jul 9, 2008
