"Awesome hike up to Cathedral Rocks and the Bear Run Lookout today. Very seldom used trails with duff instead of eroded mud. The cliff bands are beautiful, and there is a fun rock scramble through a crevasse to get to the lookout, where there are views to be had of Noonmark, Round, and Dial Mountains, as well as an interesting view up the Ausable River Valley. The Pyramid Brook Trail down is pretty, as it passes by another overlook and Pyramid Falls. No snow, mud, or bugs, and the river was raging, making for a really good day. 6.2 miles and 1100 feet." — elimihuta • Apr 27, 2025
