From US-285 turn onto a signed Forest Road 285G. The mountain is fairly close so if your vehicle is not sufficient to handle rough road conditions park it. I drove down FR-285G to FR-285F3 to FR-285F1 which put me on the SW slope of the mountain. Hike was only .35 mile one way through the forest. The summit area is fairly flat so I walked around the area. Highpoint appears to be a place where 1/8 metal wire is spread out around a few rocks. I often see this setup on the summits of New Mexico mountains.
