"Cold days in my region, today I am heading towards the village of El Hornico driving about 70 miles, the temperature drops to 0 degrees Celsius past the Mojantes mountain pass. From the Hornico I have climbed the north face that has a quite interesting forest, I have found no one else during the route in which I have found footprints in the snow of mammals and birds. At the summit there was a bit of fog and it was snowing slightly. I enjoyed the descent a lot because the weather was a bit complicated today and at the beginning it was not clear to me that I could reach the top." — franciscobirruezo • Feb 11, 2023

"Today we have done many miles looking for a cool temperature to climb a mountain. Near El Hornico village we have seen a large flock of sheep and a little later an old chapel next to the road.
We have climbed a path that crosses the forest in the north face and has some slopes where you lack breath. Fortunately when you start to hurt your legs you get the top." — franciscobirruezo • Jun 10, 2017

"From Caravaca City take "El Hornico" direction (road RM-730). This is a remote and small village. At the
summit you can see other peaks to North (Los Odres Peak etcetera.) and cornfields in the other directions.
Today 27 Cº (El Hornico) and 35 Cº in Murcia City" — franciscobirruezo • Jun 8, 2016
