Used the opportunity today to hike this beautiful Mountain while having an extended stay in Bogota. Yes it is Sunday Noon when I took this hike but it is still amazing to see the sheer amount of Pilgrims taken this not easy Path to the top of Monserrate, considering it can be easily accessed by aerial tramway, or by funicular. Enjoyed the Service in the Church, had a local Lunch in one of the many Restaurants up there and then hiked back down and headed to the Airport. A Great day spent outdoors. Highly recommended should you have time to spare in Bogota.
