"I'm going today near the village of Aledo to Pico de la Garita, the afternoon is pleasant after yesterday's torrential rains and the forest has collected quite a bit of rain. I soon leave the path to climb through the mountain and reach a large rocky slope where I jump between the stone blocks. I recover the path higher up which takes me to the old sentry box while the clouds coming from the south approach the summits and the afternoon turns autumnal. I see some mushrooms and some blue lichens on old wood when I descend, but now following the main path to the Collado de las Yeseras where I eat something before returning home." — franciscobirruezo • Sep 16, 2023
"I wanted to go back to this mountain and I had a good time. The truth is that it is fortunate to enjoy nature in complete solitude because

"We return to Sierra Espuña with our friends. From the Forest House of Las Alquerías we walk to the Collado del Pilón and from here to Las Yeseras, very close to

"We went to Cerro de la Garita today. We parked next to the Forest House of Las Alquerías and from here we have gone up
the south side. Along this route we found several rocky walls and we have used a small rope to make sure. Near the summit we have seen a path that we used for the return passing through the Collado Las Yeseras.
Both at the summit and going down we have enjoyed spectacular views." — franciscobirruezo • Oct 7, 2017
