Solo. Out & back. Temperatures in the 30’s and overcast. Parking was a bit strange as everything on the road was labeled private, with no real trailhead parking. Made the best of it and tucked myself out of the way as well as I could near the trail start.

The trail starts on a road that is in use and heads to private properties, though it isn’t very well plowed. Shortly thereafter it hooks off into the woods and across a small and sturdy foot bridge. There are still hidden mud puddles under the snow to dip your feet into! Not quite snowshoe season, but close. The final small push to the summit was an interesting rock scramble that became quite narrow in one spot.

The views were quite nice despite the cloud cover. The trailhead mileage is (probably) incorrect, I clocked 1.6mi whereas the sign reads 1.1. Nice little outing. Should’ve coupled it up with something else in the area as the drive was quite long to just bag this one peak.
