My annual Thanksgiving tradition. Woke up after a great nights sleep at Carter Notch Hut. I was one of only three people there, one of which was the caretaker. Got up and dressed at 7am, checked the weather report, had breakfast, and filled up my water bottles, then hit the trail around 8am. Headed up the Carter Moriah trail into a socked in and windy summit. Spent a short amount of time at the Carter Dome summit and then continued on towards Mount Hight.
