We have an early spring around here, with several days of high temperatures being in February. The almond fields are in bloom and the grass grows. I drive on the RM-D9 road to Campico de Los Lirias where I leave the car.
A clue next to a farmhouse guarded by dogs brings me closer to my two goals today. The landscape is of a strange beauty, as stopped in time.
Ascending to the left the Cabezo del Tejedor mount through overcoming steep slopes. Only when I reach the top do I recover the mobile signal and also enjoy beautiful views of the Sierra de María and Espuña.
Descending fast towards the Cabezo de Las Cuevas, of lower altitude. This mountain has a lot of green loose rock. I am surprised to see two such different mountains separated by less than a mile.
