"Today my son and I are going to climb two mountains next to the Portús, the temperature is not too high but the humidity is and we start to sweat from the first unevenness, we must stop from time to time under a tree to drink a little and continue the ascent. We follow the GR-92 path that takes us first to Puntal del Moco and then intuitively and between bushes and climbs we arrive at Cabezo de la Estrella. The sun beats down on us on the way down and we decide to go to the sea to take a bath, but before that we stop at a sale to buy cold drinks and some bread. We eat by the sea and recover our strength while we see many families chatting by the shore
or under the umbrellas that make us feel at home." — franciscobirruezo • Aug 26, 2023
"Today I managed to climb this mountain. The elements were against me, rain, wind, wet rock walls where I slipped. And also to get to the peak I was wrong at the exit of the highway and cost me five euros more and lose time.
A big downpour surprised me in the first section, later I tripped a pair of Britons soaked to the bone. Up to the hill is the same route as to El Puntal del Moco, but after turning to the left some sections of climbing were dangerous because the rock was wet, maybe 5.6 on the YDS scale.
The section that gives access to the top I descent it praying, because I had already slipped a couple of times going up.
To compensate, from the top I saw the wildest Nature over the mountains and the sea and I thanked God for coming out safe and sound from this peak." — franciscobirruezo • Oct 21, 2018
