"Wow... Stob Dearg and Stob na Broige via curved ridge. Airy scrambling and breathtaking exposure on the ascent then an enjoyable ridge walk before returning down Lairig Gartain. Outstanding!" — ChrisMac • Jun 30, 2018
"Cairngorm Club meet at Lagangarbh. With fellow club members. Up Coire na Tulaich to Stob Dearg, Stob na Doire, Stob Coire Altruim and Stob na Bròige. We returned to Stob Coire Altruim. At NN201529, just before a small top, we went down northwards. Followed the River Coupall to the main road. Misty on and off with some rain." — peter43 • Oct 10, 1982
"With party from CHA Guest House, Onich. From Altnafeadh. We scrambled up curved ridge, Crowberry traverse and Crowberry Tower to the top of Stob Dearg. On Crowberry Tower a member of the party dislodged a large boulder. Another jumped out of its way on to the sloping ledge I was on. I caught his leg and his fall was arrested. He could have fallen a long way. The remaining tops of Buachaille Etive Mòr were reached up to Stob na Bròige. A direct descent was made to Lairig Gartain on scree, boulders and grass. We walked alongside the River Coupall to Altnafeadh." — peter43 • Sep 3, 1970
