"We started our trip to Bryce Canyon at Bryce Point. It's one of my favorite overlooks in the first part of the park. Such great views! Because it wasn't yet too crowded, I took the opportunity to have a bit of fun. :) If you finish a Ph.D., you might as well enjoy it and live it up, right?! I brought my academic regalia along with me into the park and had fun with a totally goofy photoshoot. What's more "me" than wearing hiking clothes and hiking boots underneath my Ph.D. gown? Not much, to be honest. Why not wear it in the snow? Why not have fun with it? I worked really bloody hard to get the Ph.D., so I might as well revel in it for a little while. "I went during sunrise to each point. Easy points to drive and walk to; took minutes to bag each one. Again, kind of cheating, but this park doesn't leave you much choice if you want the view. " — mchikes • Oct 20, 2020

"Started at Sunset Point and hiked down the Eastern half of the Navajo Loop, then the Eastern half of the Peekaboo Loop. We took a side trip to Bryce Point, then Inspiration Point before retracing our steps back to the Peakaboo Loop, where we did the Western half, then took the Western half of Navajo Loop back to Sunset Point. What a gorgeous hike!" — Kevin • Jun 19, 2020

"Utah. Drove here. Do not really count this as a summit although we went into the canyon and had to come back up. Should be renamed into 'Selfie Battle Point'. Surreal landscape!" — Pieter • Jul 29, 2017

"Another retroactive trip report. To this day, Bryce Canyon remains one of the most impressive natural wonders that I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Those bright-colored hoodoos really stood out to me. I wish I had stayed longer and explored more of the canyon instead of rushing off to other natural parks and monuments in Utah. "I've been to most of the points in Bryce a few times. Not sure of exact dates, but it was in the early & mid 90s. I'll just log the ones I remember distinctly, though I'm sure I've been to them all. These are just drive-ups with short walks." — StudioHoodoo • Jul 7, 1990
